Great table of contents, but useless text

The table of contents sounds fantastic, but, unfortunately, the text is useful for neither engineers nor less-technical managers :(. It tries to give a quick overview of each topic, but sometimes goes into detailed examples that are more confusing than other texts. Most of my coworkers would instead recommend the latest edition of Keith Jack's Video Demystified, but I prefer Charles Poyton's Digital Video and HD (at least 2nd edition). Either is not only a better teacher, but also detailed enough to be used as initial references. Hopefully a future edition of this book might be more useful to a specific audience.

NOT a book for engineers

The book is TOO basic.
It's supposed to be for engineers, but it explains what a low pass filter is, what a DFT is. I believe any engineer would know this already, if he/she is getting into video processing.
There's not even a mention of any advance video processing algorithm.
I do not recommend this book, at least for engineers....
