Nope. Not even close.

I tried one recipe from this book and it was so wrong! The moisturizing Lavender bombs recipe was confusing. In the ingredients list, it listed 2 TBS Shea butter OR almond oil. In the instructions, it said to combine the two oils. I added one TBS each. So after 3 days of drying, my bombs swelled. And kept swelling. After 5 days, I put them in an air free ziplock. They filled the bag with air in a few hours. Eventually, they swelled from 1/4 cup to about 3/4 cup each and so I crumbled them into bath salts. I used them in a bath, and the salts fizzled like pop rocks for two seconds and that was it. The ratio of citric acid vs baking soda is not right. It was a disaster not worth repeating. Lesson learned and citric acid wasted.

This book has been extremely helpful! I made a ton of bath bombs using various recipes from this book. The book is detailed and has a ton of recipes. Explains very easily how to accomplish the perfect bath bomb. My skin is so smooth and smells soo good. I gave out a bunch to everyone in my family they love them!!

This is a great book to have on hand. Author Brooks has written some dynamite books and it's best to read them in order. This book helps tremendously.

Like starting a book and then finding it was page ...

I was expecting a list from top to bottom, numerically listing books. Also for the 1st (3) shannara books it show a forth listing dated around (1995), I think,for the king of shannara. whether or not they go hand in hand does not matter. They were not written as such. It came much later. Like starting a book and then finding it was page (90) you started, not page (1). As smart and as creative as he is ,missed that one.the

In 1931, a talent scout from Paramount Pictures sees Grace dancing in a New York cabaret and offers her a screen test. She is immediately signed to a contract with Paramount and moves to Hollywood with her mother. She still thinks of William Boyd, but makes no attempt to contact him after she is living in Hollywood.
In 1937, her phone rings and the voice on the other end says, "This is William Boyd. May I speak to Grace Bradley?" Grace is shocked and thinks someone is playing a joke on her until she hears the famous Bill Boyd laugh, then she knows it is the real thing. Three weeks later to the day, they are married.

You must put it down

Extremely well written and interesting to read. I'd say "you can't put it down", but it's so heavy you have to put it down to read it. It's a terrific biography as well as filmography, and includes many collectables and photos of Hoppy wanna-bes. Interesting business insights too! Grace Boyd's life is more intriguing than most romance novels. Hoppy as a role model is unsurpassed. Russ Cochran and Steve Geppi did a great job putting this package together.

If your a fan or have any interst in this iconic figure, it's a great book. Super pictures of Bill Boyd and Topper, insight into the films and film making process, and some understanding of the relationship the actor had with his wife, Grace. Plenty of movie memorabilia, and discourse about the 40/50's Hoppy craze that swept the nation as a result of his film popularity and self positioning as a TV pioneer. Yes, before there was Davy Crocket and coonskin caps, there was Hopalong Cassidy and kids running around in black Hoppy outfits. Great effort about someone greatly beloved in his day. Kids of today are disadvantaged in not having screen role models like Hoppy to be entertained by and look up to. Much like Clayton Moore with the character of the Lone Ranger, Bill Boyd became Hopalong Cassidy, and was proud of it. Sixty six films and two seasons of TV episodes, Hoppy was the man in black.

Peter Nieman is a medical doctor who helps families achieve wellness, using integrative medicine as a way to help them move forward. He appears regularly on local and national television. He is a marathon runner who has completed close to one hundred marathons; he continues to run daily. He is married and has four children. He lives in Canada.

Well Done, Dr Nieman

Dr. Peter Nieman is someone who is good at setting goals and maintaining the mental discipline to stay on track with what has to be done to achieve them. As a pediatrician, he helps his young patients and their parents learn constructive ways to think of and approach challenges to health. It takes mental discipline.
After a medical career of more than three decades, as a father of four and as an avid reader and a runner now nearing his 100th marathon, Dr Nieman has a treasure trove of the things he has learned that work or don't work when dealing with the challenges that can present themselves in his life and our lives.
This book is appropriately named "Moving Forward". It is quite something that Dr. Nieman has found the time, in his busy life, to write this book and share with us the lessons he has learned. He is well organized and says alot in 176 pages. When I was in my early 20s, I stumbled on a book by Dr. Dyer (one of the authors that Dr Nieman cites) that helped me, by getting across to me the point that "we choose how we feel" and the importance of "mental discipline" when facing challenges and uncertainty.
I see this as such a book - that the reader can use to feel better - by employing the mental discipline and perseverance that is within his or her ability, with confidence that things will be all right. Don't try to finish it all at once. When feeling worried or stressed, keep it nearby at night and enjoy reading and re-reading helpful portions. You will feel better as you read and accept how the way you think of problems - and their solutions - are within your control.

Motivating and practical

Packed with encouragement and practical strategies for facing life's challenges, in addition to daily practices to help build a resilient foundation from which to face those challenges, 'Moving Forward' integrates wisdom from many traditions and thinkers. Dr. Nieman finds the common themes from writers as diverse as the Dalai Lama and Vincent Norman Peale. I liked the organization of the book, especially the chapters on energy and the impact that others can have on us (the chapter is titled "Associations"). Each chapter ends with a list of 10 practical strategies and an explanation of how to implement them, which gives the book a refreshing "you can do it too" feel. As a long-time pediatrician, Dr. Nieman has a wealth of experience informing and caring for others, and he shares some of the insights he has gained from this experience as a physician in addition to personal challenges he has overcome. Even though packed with information, this book is a fast read that's sure to motivate and energize.

A Resource For Life.

Dr. Nieman synthesis the great thoughts and advice from so many that have written before. In addition to other sages, his chapters end with Action Steps. His book guides you to take the action needed to move forward in your life. Who wants to feel stuck? This is a book you need at your bedside table, a resource for life. I highly recommend it!
